My name is Miss Burns and I am a 1st grade teacher at Lore Elementary School. I am so excited to welcome my new fantastic "firsties" to our classroom! Here are a few fun facts all about me...
Miss Burns loves to learn, play sports and to have fun! She has a very large family, and being an aunt is just as special to her as being a teacher! Her family is her most treasured gift and she's thankful for them everyday! Miss Burns is a former student of the Hopewell Valley School District, and she prides herself on giving back to the communities that fostered and nurtured her own learning as a child. After high school, she attended Drew University and The College of New Jersey to pursue her lifetime dream of becoming a teacher- she's so lucky to say she's living that dream! Today, Miss Burns is thankful that she is in her thirteenthth year of teaching 1stGrade at Lore, and her fifteenth year as an educator. Everyday has been an experience that has bettered her as a person, and she's never take for granted her responsibility and privilege to be a positive influence in the lives of her students!!
